Holla - that's awesome your going to Romeo and Juliette as well! I've only done one session there so far but both laser techs (girls) seemed to do well. Everyone there seems to be very good from what I've heard which is why I chose to go there.

Regarding my shoulders...it's really my upper arm area and a little bit on my shoulders....I'm not sure if the lasers stimulated the areas or just sped up the growth. I probably would have had hair there eventually, if the lasers did stimulate the areas, so its good that its happening now and I can get it taken care of at the same time as everything else. I will definitely be getting any unwanted hair taken care of at my next session.

Sarah - it takes about 14-18 days for me to shed maybe 95% of my hair. I would think tweezing them would take waaay to long. I just wait for them to fall out or shave them if they start to look weird. They don't get too long.

Oh yeah, and how are you dealing with the new shoulder hair? How did it even happen that your shoulders got lasered?

I'm nervous about stimulating new hair growth, but I also figure within the six-session package it should be taken care of as soon as it tries to appear. Are you getting your new growth zapped next time you go to the clinic?

Hi, thanks for making this blog! I'm about to undergo the same procedure (at the same clinic!) and I'm ridiculously nervous about spending this much money.

I'm the same age and skin type as you, and getting my "T-shirt" done front and back. I can't even begin to thank you for letting me know what to expect. Are there any tips I should know before I start? Are there any technicians at Romeo & Juliette I should request? Or, well, anything? This is easily the most expensive thing I've ever bought, besides university.

You may find that several weeks after each treatment the hair comes back. It is very easy to get optimistic after the shedding and a few weeks of hairlessness but for a lot of people the hair comes back. For me electrolysis was eventually the way to keep it away. I had 5 laser treatments overy a 15 month period.
